The course is very much hands on with the emphasis on saving life.

This really is a life skill you should have !!!! I am sure you will want to invite a neighbour !!

As radio enthusiasts building our own equipment etc although we are very careful there is always the possibility of electrical shock…..!!!

It is 35 years ago that I last received a mains shock and I remember it vividly!!

Please invite your friends and neighbours…

Best wishes
Matthew GW6KOA (Chairman)

24GHz & 47GHz talk

Our first meeting of 2016 was a very interesting one indeed.

Matthew gave us a little talk on some of his projects on the 12GHz, 24GHz and 47GHz bands.

We were all blown away with how tiny the aperture was for 47GHz.

If you are interested in Microwave communications you might want to look into the Dubus Magazine.

The UK representative for Dubus is Roger Blackwell GM4PMK. 2016 subscription is now due and is €25.
